Prepare to embark on a culinary journey unlike any other on your Wintjiri Wiru experience, and enjoy an authentic celebration of native Australian produce and Indigenous bush foods.

We are committed to ensuring that all guests can enjoy our unique dining experience, regardless of their dietary needs. If you have any dietary requirements, please let us know at the time of booking. We are able to accommodate a wide variety of dietary restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free diets. 

Sunset Dinner Menu

Sunset Dinner Canapes

Canape selections include tasty bites such as:

  • Gin infused cucumber with green ants and celery salt 
  • Cauliflower mousse tartlet with bush tomato pearls and wattleseeds (V)
  • Lemon myrtle crocodile curry pie
  • Sweet potato and warrigal green flan 
  • Blackened mountain pepper beef fillet on truffle slider brioche 
  • Balsamic caramelised onions with South Australian goat's cheese

There are also options to cater for all dietary requirements, including:

  • Gin infused cucumber with celery salt (VV) (GF)
  • Cauliflower mousse tartlet with bush tomato pearls and wattleseeds (V)
  • Mushroom pie (VV) (GF)
  • Sweet potato and warrigal green flan 
  • Braised beetroot on a pink bun (VV) (GF)
  • Balsamic caramelised onions with herbed labneh (VV) (GF)

Winter warmer wild mushroom and vegetable soup (V) will also be served.

Sunset Dinner Gourmet Hamper

Once you take your seat in the open-air desert theatre, you will embark on the next stage of your culinary adventure with native antipasti served in your gourmet hamper. The menu features exciting combinations including:

  • Blackened pepper leaf kangaroo 
  • Smoked emu with saltbush chilli crust
  • Lemon aspen and dill chicken tenderloin
  • Black garlic hummus dip (V)
  • Bush tomato and capsicum dip (V)
  • Saltbush marinated olives (V)
  • Semi dried tomato with ice plant and paper bark (V)
  • Ancient grains salad with quinoa, chickpeas, macadamia nuts, salted pumpkin seeds, lemon, parsley, and mint (V)
  • Waldorf salad and cooked prawns, native celery, quandong, apple, walnuts, and wattleseeds
  • Tasmanian vintage Pyengana cheddar cheese (V)
  • Creamy King Island blue brie cheese (V)
  • Davidson plum and quandong jam (V)
  • Sun muscat relish (V)
  • Caramelised anise myrtle fig (V)

For something sweet, you'll love chocolate truffles and a selection of pastries, or the mini vegan macarons.

  • Cucumber and carrot crudities and hummus dip

  • Whole apple, grapes
  • Skittles
  • Juice popper, Yaru Water

There are also options to cater for all allergies and dietary requirements: 

  • Roast chicken with crushed avocado, quandong mayonnaise finger sandwiches
  • Baked maple sweet potato and goat's cheese finger sandwiches
  • Cucumber and carrot crudities and hummus dip
  • Plain water crackers and cheddar cheese
  • Wattleseed popcorn (GF, DF, nut free, soy free, vegan)

Vegetarian and gluten free: 

  • Egg and cucumber finger sandwich on gluten free bread

Enjoy a delicious Cucumber Cooler or a Spiced Apple Tonic Cocktail, featuring award-winning Koala Gin from Beachtree Distillery as you arrive at your Sunset Dinner experience. 

During the experience, premium Australian wines from Penfolds will be served as well as wine, beers, and spirits from suppliers that are either wholly Indigenous owned or have been Supply Nation Certified, such as Forester Estate Winery, Beachtree Distilling Company, beers from Jarrah Boy, and non-alcoholic craft beers from Sobah and Yaru Water.
