Red Desert Reptiles

BOOK

from $25 per person

The Red Desert Reptiles Show is an educational and entertaining experience for the whole family to enjoy. Join Danny as he introduces you to some special creatures of the Red Desert of Central Australia.

Meet Bruce the blue tongue lizard (Lungkata), Wolverine the bearded dragon (Ngapala), Max the Mulga also known as a king brown (Liru) and a Woma Python (Kunlya).

The desert of Australia is home to 73 species of reptiles. Learn about some of these amazing species and how they survive and roam in their harsh desert environment. While they may be hard to spot out in the wild due to their ability to camouflage and rapidly change colour, you'll have the opportunity to get up close, touch and hold some of the reptiles. Make sure to bring your camera along to capture this rare encounter.

Danny's love for reptiles started at a young age, catching lizards and frogs in his garden. Over the last nine years, Danny has been a snake catcher and wildlife keeper at Ayers Rock Resort. Passionate about all creatures big and small, he has been educating, entertaining and inspiring others to protect our wildlife for future generations.

  • One hour educational and entertaining reptile show
  • Opportunity to get up close, touch or hold some of the reptiles
  • Located at the Camel Farm
