The contrast between the spectacular natural setting and the world-class gastronomic adventure on your plate is simply awe-inspiring. This is so much more than a dining experience; it's a moment in time remembered forever.

Tali Wiru, meaning 'beautiful dune' in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for unique ambiance there's the stillness of the desert at night.

About the Menu

Every course of this exclusive four-course dinner is infused with ancient native ingredients. Each dish is constructed to respect and put a spotlight on the quality and attributes of each ingredient and bring them together in harmony. Taste items such as Victorian chestnut and celeriac velouté as an amuse bouche, native spiced lamb backstrap, bush spinach dumplings or scallops as your entree, while main course could be Glacier 52 toothfish, Darling Downs wagyu beef tenderloin marble 6+, or pithivier. Dessert is a choice of quandong and lychee mousse, or warm desert honey apple tarte tatin.
All four courses of the table d'hôte dinner have been expertly paired with iconic Penfolds wines which include Penfolds x Thiénot Champagne Brut Rosé, Penfolds Bin 51 Riesling, Penfolds 389 Cabernet Shiraz, Penfolds Bin 23 Pinot Noir, Penfolds Cellar Reserve Riesling, Penfolds St Henry Shiraz, and Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay.
