Delight all your senses with an unforgettable meal

$440 /adult. For travel between 1st Apr 2024 - 15th Oct 2024

The contrast between the spectacular natural setting and the world-class gastronomic adventure on your plate is simply awe-inspiring. This is so much more than a dining experience; it's a moment in time remembered forever.

Tali Wiru, meaning 'beautiful dune' in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta, and for unique ambiance there's the stillness of the desert at night.

Every course of this exclusive four-course dinner is infused with ancient native ingredients. Each dish is constructed to respect and put a spotlight on the quality and attributes of each ingredient and bring them together in harmony. Taste items such as Victorian chestnut and celeriac velouté as an amuse bouche, wild Moreton Bay bug – slipper lobster, wattle seed dusted dorper lamb loin or tian of grilled market vegetables with crystal ice plant as your entree, while main course could be Glacier 51’ toothfish, Darling Downs wagyu beef tenderloin marble 6+, or wild forest mushroom risotto. Dessert is a choice of chocolate delice, desert honey and Kakadu plum mousse, or a homestead cheese board.

All four courses of the table d'hôte dinner have been expertly paired with iconic Penfolds wines which include Penfolds x Thiénot Champagne Brut Rosé, Penfolds Bin 311 Chardonnay, Penfolds Cellar Reserve Polish Hill River Riesling, Penfolds Bin 407 Cabernet Sauvignon and Penfolds Bin 28 Shiraz.
