Opera Australia - Terms & Conditions

These terms and conditions are in addition to Voyages’ Booking Terms & Conditions (which can be found on www.ayersrockresort.com.au). 

 

Changes or cancellations

1. Full payment is required within 7 days of receipt of booking confirmation. Bookings can be changed or cancelled up to and including 31 January 2022. Changes or cancellations made on or prior to 31 January 2022 will not incur cancellation fees and in the case of cancellations, refunds will be provided for any monies already paid.  
2. On and from 1 February 2022, the booking is non-changeable and non-refundable unless it is necessary to change or cancel the booking because of a COVID-19 Event. If a booking is changed or cancelled as a result of a COVID-19 Event then no cancellation fees will be charged and in the case of a cancellation, a refund of monies already paid will be provided.  
3. A ‘COVID-19 Event’ means:
   • any government action or restriction which results in the closure of Ayers Rock Airport, the Resort or the Northern Territory border due to the COVID-19 pandemic; or
   • the Northern Territory Government has imposed a mandatory self-quarantine requirement of 14 days or more on all persons arriving in the Northern Territory from interstate, 
     but excludes adverse economic conditions or general financial constraints due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

 

Unfavourable Weather Conditions 

1. The performances will take place on 20, 21 and 22 May 2022 (Performance Dates) and will be open-air outdoor events. The venues, audience seating and the stage are completely uncovered and as such, are subject to Unfavourable Weather Conditions.
2. Unfavourable Weather Conditions include (without limitation):
   • any of the following weather conditions or the likelihood of any of the following weather conditions: 
     • rain or storm of any kind;
     • strong winds;
     • flooding;
     • bushfire; or
   • any damage to the venues or stages caused by any of the above weather conditions prior to any of the Performance Dates or during the performance. 
3. Voyages reserves the right to change the venue of the performance in the event of an Unfavourable Weather Condition or where there is a likelihood of an Unfavourable Weather Condition occurring at any time prior to or on any of the Performance Dates or during the performance. Voyages will change the venue to an indoor venue at Ayers Rock Resort if an alternative indoor performance can be offered at the relevant time. Due to the venue change, it will be necessary to change or adapt the indoor performance to suit the change in circumstances.  No refunds or compensation will be provided for such changes. 
4. Voyages reserves the right to cancel the performance in the event of an unforeseen or unpredicted Unfavourable Weather Condition occurring at any time on any of the Performance Dates and no alternative indoor performance can be offered due to reasons beyond Voyages’ control.  If the performance is cancelled in this circumstance then no refunds will be provided for any tickets, flights and/or accommodation. 
5. Any food and/or drink that has not been consumed (either pre-purchased or purchased at the event) will not be refunded if the performance is moved indoors or cancelled.

 

Cast and program subject to change

Voyages reserves the right to make changes to the cast and/or program at any time, where necessary.
