Celebrating 10 Years of Field of Light – 2026
In 2026, we celebrate 10 years of Field of Light – Bruce Munro's iconic installation that brings the desert at Uluru to life with more than 50,000 glowing spheres. First imagined by Munro in 1992, the artwork came to life on Anangu Country in 2016, and has welcomed over 750,000 visitors seeking moments of calm, colour, and connection.

ANZAC Day Dawn Service

Start the day with a moving sunrise service at the ANZAC Memorial Site, as the community comes together to reflect and remember. Afterwards, join us at the Outback Bar for a complimentary breakfast. No booking required.

Annual Outback Marathon – 25 July 2026
The Outback Marathon is an annual event in Yulara, Northern Territory, which will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026. It welcomes runners of all levels and features a full marathon, half marathon, and fun runs at 11 km and 6 km. Participants can enjoy the stunning landscapes of the Red Centre, making it a memorable and fun experience for everyone.

Bush Food Experience
Learn about Australian and local bush tucker and how, for many centuries, local Indigenous groups would hunt, gather, and prepare these nourishing bush foods.
Guided Garden Walks
Guides will show guests around the Resort Gardens highlighting seasonal local flora, bush foods, trees native to Australia, and the medicines traditionally used.
Camel Farm
Visitors are welcome to wander through the saddlery, visit the animal petting farm, and hear the stories and history behind some of Australia’s greatest explorers and cameleers.
