Departing Ayers Rock Resort, travel into Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. On arrival at Kata Tjuta, explore Walpa Gorge on a guided walk between two of the highest domes. This one-hour walk takes you through a natural creek bed, where you'll discover the area's unique flora and learn about the ancient geology and cultural significance of this sacred Anangu site.
After the hike, continue to the Uluru sunset viewing area and settle in to enjoy a glass of sparkling wine or a soft drink as the sun sets over the desert. Watch as Uluru transforms with the changing light, glowing in rich shades of red, orange and purple – an unforgettable Outback experience.
Return to Ayers Rock Resort after sunset.

- *Please note: Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park passes are not included in the cost of the tour and need to be purchased separately. Passes can be purchased here. Children under 18 years of age enter free of charge.
- What to Bring: Water bottle to hold 2 litres, Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park pass, warm layers in cooler months, camera, sturdy enclosed walking shoes, sunglasses, sunscreen & hat.
- Physical Requirements: Walpa Gorge is a beginner-level walking trail. Guests can return to the vehicle at any time to rest if they are unable to complete the hike.
