Ayers Rock Campground

Pitch your tent on lush green grass under the shade of native desert oaks. Ayers Rock Campground caters to various en-route travel camping needs, from powered sites and air-conditioned cabins to sites for caravans, campervans, motor homes and camper trailers. The Campground also provides a range of services and facilities to make the great outdoors truly enjoyable.

Located within the Ayers Rock Resort, the campground is an ideal base from which to experience the beauty of the living cultural landscape in Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. A well-equipped campground with modern amenities - perfectly suited to families, independent travellers and groups.


2 Bedroom Cabins

The campground offers 14 air-conditioned cabins with shared bathroom facilities. Cabins feature 2 bedrooms, linen, cooking facilities and utensils, microwave, refrigerator and television. Bedding configuration is 1 double bed in one bedroom, and 2 sets of single bunk beds in the second bedroom. Sleeps a maximum of 6 people.

Camping - Powered Site

The campground is close to all facilities and consists of 198 Powered Camping Sites which are spacious offering plenty of room to relax. Each site is featured on a shaded area with power for added comfort - electrical outlets 240/250 Volt, 50Hz AC.


Camping - Non-Powered Site

There are 220 non-powered tent sites on a spacious area located within close proximity to shared facilities.

15min Rock Blast (Daytime)

Launch off on a Rock Blasting adventure, taking in the sights of Ayers Rock Resort and surrounding deserts on the way to Uluru; a panorama of breathtaking scenery unique to the Red Centre.  Tour duration is approx. 1 hour.

15min Rock Only (Daytime)

For those on a budget or if your time is limited, this is the quickest way to see Uluru. A 15 minute scenic flight takes you past Voyages Ayers Rock Resort and onto Uluru. It is also possible to see Kata Tjuta in the distance.  Tour duration is approx. 1 hour.

2 day Uluru and Kata Tjuta Transfer Pass

Bush Yarn at the Circle of Sand

Welcome to the Circle of Sand, the Indigenous heart of Ayers Rock Resort. You will quickly become captivated by the yarns told by an Indigenous storyteller about Aboriginal history, culture and traditional techniques used on the land. Dependant on the season, learn about traditional bushtucker or an Indigenous man’s “survival kit” including weapons such as katjii (hunting spears), tjutinpa (clubs), kali (boomerangs) and miru (spear thrower). Tour duration approx 30 minutes.

Garden Walk - Sails in the Desert

Meet with an Indigenous guide who will take you on a journey around the Sails in the Desert gardens pointing out the local flora. Learn how Indigenous people traditionally lived by using the bush for food and medicinal purposes. Alternatively, collect a free Garden Walk Pocket Guide from your hotel reception for a self-guided tour. Tour duration approx. 1 hour.

Wakagetti Cultural Dancers

Wakagetti, meaning “Dance”, will open your mind and heart to Indigenous culture through an authentic dance performance.
