When people talk about 20/20 vision, it’s safe to say they didn’t expect 2020 to look quite like this! It’s certainly been a memorable year, one filled with time spent at home, more than enough self-cooked meals, and plenty of re-scheduled holidays. But thankfully, here in Australia’s Northern Territory, all our patience and cooperation has paid off. Things are starting to feel normal again (well, as normal as a place this amazing can feel!). Visitors are basking in the beauty of Uluru sunsets, taking part in one-of-a-kind experiences, and indulging in delicious multi-course meals under the stars.

We’re so happy to see visitors around the resort once again. Still, while we were away, we watched with excitement as people shared memories of time spent at Uluru and wishes for upcoming holidays here. In fact, we loved seeing these photos and memories so much that we wanted to share some of our favourites with you here!

Check out these fantastic memories and let them help inspire your next visit to Australia’s Northern Territory.

Making Memories With Loved Ones

Uluru is a place unlike any other, and the memories you’ll make here will last a lifetime. Just imagine dining beside the Field of Light with your family and friends, or simply watching the sunset as Instagrammer @mahendrareddy91 did. At times, you may feel like you’re on another planet, but the truth is that Uluru is simply out of this world.

But, of course, sometimes it’s the small moments on holiday that stick with you, like this romantic moment visitor @grubbstagram captured with her self-described “favourite human”. How lovely is this!?

Catching Glimpses of Uluru from Everywhere

Uluru is a sight that looks impressive from anywhere. Whether you see it on foot (like @slowly.salty), on wheels (like @siennakyha), or from the air, you’re in for a visual feast. You can even check out Uluru from afar like @lillysunshinee did. Even at a distance, Uluru looks spectacular!

Awaken Your Spirit

Australia’s Northern Territory is a place filled with deeply-rooted history and traditions deeply. In fact, the region is full of many sites that are considered sacred by local Aboriginal communities. Take Kata Tjuṯa, for example. The Anangu people believe these great domed rocks, also known as the Olgas, house incredible spirit energy. It’s also said the summit of Kata Tjuta is home to the great snake king Wanambi.

Check out the breathtaking shot of Kata Tjuṯa below, captured by @Love__and__trip. And remember to spend time learning about the incredible cultural history here as you relax your mind and body for some much needed ‘you’ time.
