Approximate Flight times/distances within Australia
Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Resort (Uluru, Conellan Airport) is a 1 hour flight or a 4.5 hour drive (450kms).
Both Qantas and Virgin Australia fly to Uluru, directly into Ayers Rock (Conellan) Airport from Sydney.
Qantas also offers direct flights from Cairns and Alice Springs and both airlines offer connecting flights from most capital cities to Ayers Rock airport.
International guests may like to consider a Qantas Aussie AirPass or Virgin Blue Airpass for a more convenient way to include Ayers Rock (Uluru) in their itinerary.

Airport Transfers
Complimentary return coach transfers from Ayers Rock Airport to Voyages Ayers Rock Resort meet every scheduled flight. The return transfer to Ayers Rock Resort Airport collects you from your hotel approximately 2 hours prior to flight departure please check with reception for exact departure times.
Ayers Rock Airport, Yulara (Connellan Airport)
Ayers Rock Airport is conveniently located just six kilometres from Voyages Ayers Rock Resort (10 minutes travel). The airport services both fixed and rotary winged aircraft and receives up to on average 350,000 - 400,000 commercial passengers per year. It's also a popular stopping off point for private pilots and passengers travelling in their own aircraft.
From Ayers Rock Airport, you can enjoy scenic desert flights over Uluru and Kata Tjuta. You will find hire car companies, tour desks, a Qantas desk, a Virgin Blue desk, Ayers Rock Design retail outlet, and an information desk at the airport.
Self Drive
A great way to explore Central Australia is at your own pace. Hertz, Thrifty and Avis car rentals are available at Ayers Rock Resort. You can choose from a range of vehicles including 4WD and standard Sedan options. Pre-booking of hire cars is recommended, contact the Voyages Travel Centre today!

AAT Kings Coach Transfers
Coach transfers are available and operate services between Ayers Rock Resort, Kings Canyon and Alice Springs. Travel by luxury air-conditioned coach through beautiful desert landscapes. Your driver or guide will provide comprehensive commentary as you pass through the beautiful rugged scenery of the outback. Coach bookings can be made through the Voyages Travel Centre.
