Field of Light
Bruce Munro's award-winning, Field of Light, now extended to 2020, is a must-add experience to any events or conference itinerary. With Uluru standing tall in the background, watch as 50,000 illuminated stems crowned with frosted glass change the desert into a spectacle of deep violet's, blues, whites and ochres. The solar-powered exhibition stretches as far as the eye can see (bigger than seven football fields), and is truly a once-in-a-lifetime addition to an already unique delegate experience.
Add a Field of Light Sunrise for a memorable start to the day or A Night at Field of Light for the ultimate inspired evening.
A Night at Field of Light
A Night at Field of Light begins with a hotel pick-up and transfer to the remote desert location with majestic views of Uluru. With Uluru as the backdrop, delegates enjoy canapes and chilled sparkling wine as the sun sets. As darkness falls and the 50,000 coloured glass spheres come to life, delegates are invited to their table for a special 3-course menu infused with bush tucker flavours. The evening also includes a didgeridoo, welcoming delegates to this unique country. Your host will provide insights and background into the monumental exhibition that awaits you, before delegates are invited to immerse themselves and walk through Field of Light.
Field of Light Sunrise
Rising before the sun, delegates will be welcomed at the exclusive dune top viewing area with hot tea/coffee and pastries. A guide will provide insights and background into the art installation, after which delegates are invited to walk through and interact with Field of Light. Twenty minutes prior to sunrise delegates return to the dune top to watch the amazing transformation of colours and life as the desert awakens with Uluru as their backdrop. After sunrise, delegates are invited to an outdoor dining site adjacent to the Field of Light to extend their sunrise experience with the option of additional breakfast packages.
