Christmas Day

A Night at Field of Light: Experience Christmas light in a brand new way. Savour a gourmet holiday dinner under the stars, then stroll through Bruce Munro's acclaimed Field of Light installation.

Sounds of Silence: Spend Christmas night under the stars with a delectable Christmas dinner menu served at sunset. Start with canapes and a welcome beverage, then enjoy a three-course holiday menu paired with premium Australian wines.

Ilkari Restaurant, Sails in the Desert: Mark Christmas Day in style with a Festive Feast for lunch or dinner in the stylish heart of Sails in the Desert. The menu will feature a Christmas seafood selection, summer salads, hot dishes from around the world, and an interactive chef station creating Christmas classics like roast turkey alongside outback flavours like seared kangaroo. Join us for lunch (12pm - 3pm), last seating 2pm or dinner (6:30pm - 10:30pm, last seating 9:30pm).

Mangata Bistro & Bar, Desert Gardens Hotel: Seafood lovers, make sure to add the stylish Mangata Bistro & Bar to your Christmas plans! The restaurant is offering its normal menus throughout the day with the addition of a seafood basket special.

New Year's Eve

Wintjiri Wiru: Swap fireworks for drones and celebrate New Year's Eve in style at Wintjiri Wiru for an astounding Anangu cultural storytelling experience as over 1,100 drones take to the sky to tell the ancestral Mala story.

Outback Hotel & Lodge: Kick back at the Outback BBQ and Bar with live music until 9pm, then dance the night away with a DJ, a countdown, and confetti to ring in the new year.

Ilkari Restaurant, Sails in the Desert: Ring in 2024 in style with a special New Year's Eve dinner menu, including a glass of bubbles on arrival.

Walpa Lobby Bar, Sails in the Desert: Sails in the Desert's stylish lobby bar will be open well past midnight, featuring live performances by musical duo Nick and Laura to start 2024 on a fun and festive note.
