Welcome to the Red Centre. This humble place provides the perfect setting for an adventurous experience. Once you've settled in, start your trip by exploring your surrounds. Tonight, your adventure begins with the award-winning Sounds of Silence dinner under the stars.

A great introduction to the area's history, culture, geology and wildlife; the Ecology & Museum Tour held at 3pm daily in Wintjiri museum.

Head over to Imalung lookout for your first glimpses of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. Make your way to Resort Town Square or Wintjiri Arts & Museum to view works from 'Artists in Residence' program.

1 hour prior to sunset : Sounds of Silence

Tonight, you'll experience an unforgettable evening. Get ready to feast your eyes on a panoramic view of Uluru as you sip sparkling wine and enjoy canapés at the Sounds of Silence dinner.

Day 2

Begin your day with an Uluru sunrise and traditional Aussie breakfast, visit waterholes and learn about Aboriginal stories relating to this iconic rock. After a quick bite, listen to yarns told by an Indigenous storyteller about Aboriginal history and culture. Spend your evening enjoying an Aussie BBQ.

1 hour prior to sunrise : Desert Awakenings Tour

On your second day, an inspiring and intimate sunrise and guided Uluru tour awaits. Enjoy a light bushman’s breakfast as you watch the sunrise, then head to the base of Uluru.

Be captivated by the yarns told by an Indigenous storyteller about Aboriginal history, culture and traditional techniques used on the land.

Head over to Town Square, and enjoy lunch at Kulata Academy Café, staffed by trainees from the National Indigenous Training Academy.

After a day filled with adventure, take the free shuttle service to the Outback Pioneer, and treat yourself to a do-it-yourself BBQ with traditional Aussie charm. A perfect way to end your day.

Day 3

On day 3 of your outback adventure, you'll Watch the spectacular sunrise over Kata Tjuta with Uluru in the distance with a light breakfast included. You will then be escorted on a 2-3 hour walk to the Valley of the Winds lookout.

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast at yout hotel. Take the time to walk to the heart of the Resort to Imalung Lookout before you leave to capture those last glimpse of Uluru and Kata Tjuta from a distance.

This will be followed by a fun cooking demonstration utilising a flavoursome Indigenous ingredient that you can try at home. Didgeridoo Workshop

Listen to the enchanting sounds of the didgeridoo. Yidaki, the traditional Aboriginal term for the didgeridoo, was discovered in East Arnhem Land in the Northern Territory of Australia. During this workshop, guests are invited to try and play the didgeridoo. Note: Culturally, the didgeridoo is only played by males. We request your understanding and respect for Indigenous culture during this activity. Tour duration: approx. 45 minutes. Bush Yarn

Listen to the stories of Aboriginal culture and tradition where you will be shown men’s weapons that were used for hunting or women’s tools and techniques to gather bush tucker in the central desert.
