1. FIELD OF LIGHT ULURU
WHEN: EVERY NIGHT UNTIL 31 DECEMBER 2020
With Uluru as your backdrop, witness a fantasy garden of 50,000 coloured stems light up the desert as you walk through the Field of Light. This award-winning exhibition by internationally acclaimed artist Bruce Munro will continue to light up the spiritual heart of Australia until 31 December 2020.

2. ULURU FEASTIVAL
WHEN: 9-10 MARCH 2018
Catch a taste of Australia’s native flavours during the Uluru Feastival. For a weekend, you can experience Indigenous food and culture all in one place with open air dining, traditional bush tucker tastings, and a signature masterclass and three-course tasting dinner with Bush Tucker Journeys Ambassador and Indigenous celebrity chef Mark Olive.

3. TJUNGU INDIGENOUS CULTURAL FESTIVAL
WHEN: 26-29 APRIL 2018

4. ULURU CAMEL CUP
WHEN: 25-26 MAY 2018
A must-do on every outback travellers list, the Uluru Camel Cup is the race that stops the rock. Join the locals for a fun-filled weekend of camel racing, boot scooting, whip cracking, live entertainment, and fun activities for the whole family to enjoy.

5. AUSTRALIAN OUTBACK MARATHON
WHEN: 28 JULY 2018
It’s not every day you’ll find a backdrop to a marathon with spectacular views of Uluru and Kata Tjuta. If you love running and adventure, the Australian Outback Marathon is one to put on the bucket list.
The event is designed for all levels of running abilities, with a full marathon, half marathon, 11km and 6km fun runs on a relatively flat course. If you’d like to participate this year, don’t forget to book your spot.
6. ULURU WELLNESS RETREAT
WHEN: 7-13 SEPTEMBER 2018
With a new year upon us, it’s the perfect time to re-centre and restore your mind, body and spirit. The Uluru Wellness Retreat, hosted by popular life change facilitator Peter Bliss, will empower you to manage your emotions and master your mind through workshops, programs and guided meditations.
