Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia
Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia is a subsidiary of the Indigenous Land Corporation (ILC) and operates Ayers Rock Resort on its behalf. Voyages also manages Home Valley Station in the East Kimberley region of Western Australia and Mossman Gorge Centre in Tropical North Queensland.
WITH A STRONG COMMITMENT TO SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY, ALL PROFITS FROM VOYAGES’ BUSINESS ACTIVITIES GO TOWARD BUILDING THE RESORT EXPERIENCE AND SUPPORTING INDIGENOUS TRAINING AND EMPLOYMENT ACROSS AUSTRALIA.
Voyages is committed to building and sustaining an Indigenous workforce through training, employment and economic development.
Our aim is to train and develop more Indigenous staff, enabling them to secure employment in the hospitality industry across Australia.
We create centres of Indigenous excellence, and in turn, our guests enjoy “authentic” Indigenous Australian experiences.
Voyages is also dedicated to nurturing and sharing Australia’s sensitive eco and cultural destinations and to protecting them so that they may be enjoyed for years to come. Because we feel privileged to operate in remote locations, it is critically important to us that we address local needs and concerns. We have therefore made a commitment to working with local communities via:
- Sustainable environmental tourism practices
- Respecting and supporting local cultures
- Offering employment, training and developing business opportunities
