Tali Wiru - intimate dining under the outback sky

An intimate dining experience under the outback sky

Sunset Canapes

'Tali Wiru', meaning beautiful dune in local Anangu language, encapsulates the magic of fine dining under the Southern Desert sky. Instead of walls, this open-air restaurant has magnificent views of Uluru and the distant domes of Kata Tjuta (The Olgas), and for unique ambiance there's the stillness of the desert at night.

Sunset Canapes

Relax with Champagne and canaps as the sun sets to the sound of a didgeridoo. As day turns to night, stroll to the top of the dune for a table d'hote four-course dinner, matched with premium Australian wine. The menu includes Native Thyme and Garlic Grilled Darling Downs Wagyu Fillet, Wattleseed Rubbed Kangaroo Carpaccio, Bunya Nut and Shallot Crusted Polenta Fondant and Bush Yoghurt Foam.

The dishes have been carefully paired with premium Australian varietals from across the major regions. Discerning palates will delight at the diversity and quality on offer.

The contrast between the spectacular natural setting and the world-class gastronomic adventure on your plate is simply awe-inspiring. Tali Wiru is so much more than a dining experience; it's a night you will remember for the rest of your life.

After dinner, an Indigenous storyteller will captivate you with stories of the world's oldest living culture.
