Unique experience under a canopy of the desert night
Imagine a table for two in a wilderness setting under a star strewn canopy of the Southern Night sky. The only light comes from the moon and the flickering glow of the fire. The only sound is from the whispering of the breeze through the Desert Oak trees and the crackling flames.
While you soak up the atmosphere, a four course set menu is served, accompanied by some of Australia's quality wines.
This is Sounds of Firelight, an intimate dining experience at Kings Canyon Resort. It's designed to seat no more than 16 guests (eight tables of two) on any one night.
Sounds of Firelight is the perfect way to unwind after a day hiking through Kings Canyon and Watarrka National Park.

Tour Departures
- April - October: Operates every night depending on prevailing weather conditions. Sounds of Firelight is closed November to March inclusive.

Please Note: Sounds of Firelight is unsuitable for children under 15 years of age. Maximum of 16 guests (8 couples) at one time. Bookings are essential. Guests are advised to bring warm clothing to the Sounds of Firelight dinner.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend Travel insurance. Guests should be satisfied that their chosen insurance cover fully meets their personal requirements especially in respect to inclement weather, personal injury or illness. Guest cancellation within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
All other tour reservations must be pre-paid prior to arrival at Kings Canyon and travel vouchers will be provided.
