The AAT Kings Touring passes offer great value for money and is designed to help you achieve the freedom of travelling on the tours and days of your choice. As well as urging you to take any of the fine tours on offer, these passes allow you to design your own itinerary.

Kata Tjuta & Uluru Sunset Tour
Travel to the mystical 36 domes of Kata Tjuta. On the way, stop at a lookout for a panoramic view of the southern side of Kata Tjuta. Continue on before arriving at the base of Walpa Gorge. Spend some time exploring the gorge and the unusual conglomerate rock formations. The walking trail through Walpa Gorge follows the natural creek between two of the tallest domes of Kata Tjuta. In the late afternoon we travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Witness and photograph the striking colour changes of Uluru at sunset while enjoying nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine.
Departs: Daily 2.30pm (Mar - Oct) and 3.30pm (Nov - Feb) from Ayers Rock Resort
Returns: 20 minutes approximately after sunset to Ayers Rock Resort
Uluru Sunrise & Guided Cultural Walk
Rise early to travel to the Uluru sunrise viewing area, Talinguru nyakunytjaku, to watch the first rays of the sun set Uluru and the Red Centre alight. After sunrise accompany your Guide on the Mala Walk, which takes you through one of the most important habitation areas for the Aboriginal people. Continue to Kantju Gorge, where after rainfall, water can cascade over the side of Uluru and plunge some 90 metres to the ground. We drive to the site of the Mutitjulu Walk where your guide will indicate the natural features of the landscape, Aboriginal rock paintings, Mutitjulu Waterhole and relay traditional stories relating to this special place. Walk towards Kuniya Piti, a sacred site at Uluru. Board your coach and continue around the circumference of this massive rock. Later visit the Uluru-Kata Tjuta Cultural Centre, for the opportunity to learn more about Anangu beliefs and there is also the chance to view and purchase locally made Aboriginal souvenirs.

Kata Tjuta Valley of the Winds Walk
Travel to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) where your Driver/Guide will explain the geological history of these giant domes. Your Driver/Guide will then escort you on a 2-3 hour walk in the valley between the massive red conglomerate rock. The walking path is rocky and requires a good level of fitness. Marvel at the unique flora and fauna that has survived in this harsh environment. When you reach the Valley of the Winds Lookout, take some time to gaze out over the central valley of Kata Tjuta. Then take in a magnificent outback sunset at Kata Tjuta while enjoying a complimentary glass of sparkling wine.

Returns: 40 minutes approximately after sunset to Ayers Rock Resort
Uluru Sunrise Tour
Travel to the sunrise viewing area, Talinguru nyakunytjaku, near Uluru and watch the first sunlight of the day creep across the desert plains. Enjoy a cup of tea or coffee and biscuits as the morning sun slowly changes the colour of Uluru. In summer, watching sunrise at Uluru in the cool morning air is the perfect start to the day.

Returns: 75 minutes approximately after sunrise to Ayers Rock Resort
Uluru Sunset Tour
Travel to the Uluru sunset viewing area. Enjoy nibbles and a complimentary glass of wine as the sun sinks over the western horizon and the evening sky brings out the many shades of colour for which Uluru is famous. Don't forget your camera! It is recommended that you photograph Uluru every 5 minutes to really capture the gradual colour changes of the rock. Occasionally, when it rains you may be lucky enough to see the spectacular sight of water cascading over the sides of Uluru.

Cancellations within 1- 6 days will incur a 50% cancellation fee. Cancellations within 24 hours will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend Travel insurance. Guests should be satisfied that their chosen insurance cover fully meets their personal requirements especially in respect to inclement weather, personal injury or illness. All prices are subject to change without notice. All Ayers Rock Resort tour reservations must have a credit card as a guarantee of payment. All other tour reservations must be pre-paid prior to arrival at Ayers Rock Resort and travel vouchers will be provided. Pre-payment can be made by credit card, direct deposit or cheque.
All credit card payments made at the resort incur a transaction fee of 1%.
Payment can be made by EFTPOS which does not attract a transaction fee.
