Outback Sounds of Silence

Time: hotel pick-up approx 5.15pm
Duration: approx 4.5 hours
Entry: Charges apply

Kicking off this weekend of outback celebration is the Outback Sounds of Silence. Not to be missed, your Outback themed Sounds of Silence experience begins with canaps and chilled sparkling wine served on a viewing platform overlooking the fabled Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park.

As the sun sets and darkness falls, with the sounds of Adam Thompson and Marcus Corowa's covers of iconic Aussie songs in the background, join your table of fellow travellers for an unforgettable dining experience accompanied by an outback whip cracker and an introduction to Aboriginal culture with a traditional dance performance under the outback sky.

Our attentive staff will keep your glass full with a quality selection of Australian wine and beers while the first course is served. As the night sky twinkles to life, help yourself to an Aussie tucker inspired buffet that blends traditional Australian cuisine with native bush ingredients such as kangaroo and quandong.

After dinner, settle back and listen to our resident star talker decode the Southern night sky. Locate the Southern Cross, the signs of the zodiac, the Milky Way, as well as planets and galaxies that are visible only due to the exceptional clarity of the atmosphere in the Red Centre.

Live music will continue to play throughout the evening.

After dinner, enjoy dessert with a glass of port, tea or coffee.

UPGRADE Arrive in true outback style on the back of a camel, upgrade your Outback Sounds of Silence experience with a one-hour camel tour.
