Getting There
- Tiger Airways flies 4 times a week from both Melbourne and Adelaide to Alice Springs.
- You can fly direct from Sydney, Perth, Cairns, and Alice Springs to Ayers Rock Airport with Qantas. Direct flights operate twice a week from Melbourne. Flights from Darwin and Brisbane connect from Alice Springs through to Ayers Rock Airport.
- Self drive is a great way to explore Central Australia at your own pace. The drive from Alice Springs to Ayers Rock takes approximatley 4 and 1/2 hours driving on sealed roads.
- Coach transfers are available and operate services between Alice Springs, Kings Canyon, and Ayers Rock.
