This full day tour takes in Alice Springs Desert Park, Flynns Grave, Simpsons Gap and Standley Chasms.
Spend a few hours or more at the Alice Springs Desert Park where you will discover the natural wonders of arid Australia, including the landscapes, animals and plants, and their traditional use by Aboriginal people. See free-flying birds of prey at the Nature Theatre, rare and endangered animals in the world's most spectacular Desert Nocturnal House, and a journey into four and a half billion years of desert evolution.
Lunch is included at the Desert Park Cafe, simply present your voucher and choose from the fantastic daily menu.
After a brief stop at John Flynn's Grave, a memorial to the founder of the Royal Flying Doctor Service, enjoy a 20 minute walk into the Standley Chasm in the West MacDonnell Ranges. Standley Chasm has been gouged into tough sandstone by floods over millions of years. The deep red cleft rises 80 metres above the floor and glows from reflected sunlight creating a breathtaking display of stark form and rich colour.
The tour continues to Simpsons Gap. See the immense cliffs of quartzite at Simpson's Gap, a haven for a colony of Black-footed rock-wallabies.

Discover Alice Springs Desert Park at your own pace. A transfer will pick you up at Alice Springs Resort. Stay as long as you like at the Desert Park with the option of returning every 1.5hrs.
Departes Alice Springs: 7am, 8am, 9am, 11am, 1pm, 2.30pm and 4pm
